Welcome to Formosa Salon’s Pride Month series. We’ll be screening We’ll Go Down in History and hosting a Q&A with the film team. Join us for this powerful film and take part in the conversation.

Synopsis
WE’LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY tells the story of TRUK United, a grassroots, proudly trans football club. Filmed over two years, it captures the team’s highs and lows on and off the pitch as they create a safe haven for their community in the face of rising transphobia.
Directors
Cameron Richards
Cameron Richards is a director and founder of Lonely Kite, a production house known for bold and distinctive storytelling. Their debut documentary WE’LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY, made in association with Doc Society, had its world premiere at BFI Flare and was viewed over 2 million times in ten days. Previous work includes THE SEA (starring Anna Friel and Russell Tovey) and THE GENERATORS (dir. Georgie Cowan-Turner, backed by BFI Network), which screened at Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.
Charlie Tidmas
Charlie is a writer-director and BFI Flare x BAFTA mentee for 2024. His debut narrative short film has over 800k views on Short of the Week and has played at Oscar/BAFTA qualifying festivals worldwide.
Producer
Anna Lamond
Anna is an award-winning producer and production manager. Anna’s expertise is creating compelling documentary content for renowned brands such as Channel 4 News, Vice, BBC, and Sky History.
Cinematographer / Associate Producer
Adam is a cinematographer and producer with a broad portfolio of films across documentary and narrative filmmaking. His commercial work includes a range of clients including OPPO, Mazda and The Pret Foundation.
