《星空下的黑潮島嶼》影集1-2集倫敦放映會

倫敦講臺誠摯邀請您，一同透過影集《星空下的黑潮島嶼》，走入台灣白色恐怖時期的歷史現場，認識1950年代一群政治犯在火燒島（今綠島）的生存故事。本次活動將放映《星空下的黑潮島嶼》影集前兩集（共114分鐘），並於映後安排製作人、導演與編劇參與實體和跨海連線座談。

影集由華語、日語、客語、台語發音，並有中、英文字幕。歡迎有興趣的朋友一起來欣賞！

這部影集以細膩的敘事與歷史改編，描繪那些因理想、信念或牽連而被關押於孤島上的知識菁英，如何在極端的政治高壓與艱困的環境中，與軍官、島民相遇、磨合，最終共創出一段跨越身分與立場的人性故事。

透過影像，我們不只是見證一段塵封已久的歷史，更重新思考自由、尊嚴與人與人之間的理解與和解。這將是一場穿越時空的觀影體驗，也是一次深入歷史記憶與集體情感的思辨之旅。

Black Tide Island tells the story of survival on Green Island in the year 1950. It follows political prisoners newly sent to the island, the military officers who oversaw them, and the island’s residents. Some were imprisoned for their ideals, others because of their associations. Despite their differences, all had to survive under harsh conditions.

The series does more than depict how they developed agriculture, established medical services, and improved local education — it also explores how people from vastly different walks of life came to understand one another and coexist on the island.

This event will screen the first two episodes of the series (total runtime: 114 minutes), followed by a post-screening discussion with the producer, director, and screenwriter — both in person and via live remote connection. The series features dialogue in Mandarin, Japanese, Hakka, and Taiwanese, with both Chinese and English subtitles.

Join us in exploring this rarely told chapter of Taiwan’s White Terror period through the lens of film.

在一個精神與物質全然貧瘠的世界裡，每個人都在尋找活下去的理由，一個初出社會卻有無比韌性的客庄少年阿貴；一個學識滿分、人際零分的孤傲醫生羅有德；一個有著一身藝術才氣卻沒有人生目標的朝琴；一個看似見義勇為實則背負內心創傷的戰地醫生李木雄；用文字發聲，卻換得牢獄之災的文人醫師鍾富源，他們為火燒島帶來醫療、教育、農業、工程與藝術，並發展出比親情更綿長的情誼。

火燒島淬煉了他們的生命，而他們的青春也豐饒了這座島嶼。

In 1950, the Korean War broke out. It was the democracy against communism. The international situation was getting worse. Under such circumstances, the 1% elite gathered on Bonfire Island.

In the psychologically and physically meagre world, everyone was looking for a reason to live on. Gui, a tenacious college graduate from a Hakka village, Luo You-de, a knowledgeable but social phobic and arrogant physician, Chao-qin, a talented artist without a life goal, Li Mu-xiong, a seemingly brave war doctor with his own trauma, and Zhong Fu-yuan, a physician in jail who spoke up with words, had brought medical care, education, agriculture, engineering and art to Burning Island and developed friendships deeper than a kinship between one another.

Bonfire Island made their lives better while their youth enriched the island.

現任客家電視台節目部經理。超過 20 年的影視工作經驗，擔任製作人、節目主持人和廣播節目主持人等工作，並且多次受邀擔任國內外影展評審。職業生涯不僅豐富多樣，而且橫跨多個範疇，展現了卓越的多元才華。在過去的歷程中，以其敏銳的創作力成功推動了一系列的優質作品，其中包括獲得多個獎項肯定的影集《茶金》、《星空下的黑潮島嶼》以及節目《廚師的迫降-客家廚房》、《音樂關鍵字》以及《巷弄裡的吉光片羽》等。

With over 20 years of experience in the film and television industry, she has taken on diverse roles as a producer, television host, and radio presenter, and has been invited numerous times to serve as a jury member at both domestic and international film festivals. Her career is not only rich and varied, but also spans across multiple disciplines, showcasing her outstanding versatility and creative talent.

Throughout her professional journey, she has successfully driven a series of high-quality productions with keen creative insight. Notable works include the award-winning drama series “Gold Leaf” and “Black Tide Island”, as well as programs such as “Chef’s Unexpected Landing: Hakka Kitchen”, “Unlocking Music”, and “Uncommon Cuts”.

1978年出生。讀了四年英文系，對於文本與符號的關係格外敏銳，在台大新聞所就學期間，拍攝新聞紀錄片的訓練奠定寫實的基調。當過英文教師，也做過報社記者與電視台編輯，研究所畢業後則開始試著編劇，投稿公視的人生劇展，從紀錄片拍到劇情片，單元劇拍到連續劇，偶像劇拍到電影。直到現在，王傳宗還是覺得自己像是新聞體制外的逃兵。最後卻跑來拍電影。但所有的歷練卻殊途同歸，猶如百江匯流到大海，對於日後的創作，都產生不可抹滅的影響力！執導的第三部人生劇展《我的阿嬤是太空人》(Sapce Grandma)一舉榮獲第44屆金鐘獎最佳影片、最佳導演與最佳編劇三項殊榮；第一部電影劇情長片《寶米恰恰》(Cha Cha for Twins)，在2012年金馬獎入圍五個獎項：最佳新導演、最佳原著劇本、最佳新演員、最佳視覺效果、最佳原創電影歌曲，並於台北電影節獲得最佳劇情長片、最佳編劇與最佳剪輯獎。以創作為食，永遠不停止吸收外界的養分，以及思考這個世界！

Director: Jim WANG

Jim WANG is a Taiwanese director born in 1978. Four years of undergraduate English studies helped develop his keen sensitivity to the relationship between text and symbols, while shooting news documentaries as a student of the Graduate Institute of Journalism at National Taiwan University laid the foundations for his realistic tone. He has worked as an English teacher, a newspaper reporter, and a television editor. After postgraduate studies, he began screenwriting and submitting scripts to PTS Life Story, kicking off a career that has spanned from documentaries to narrative films, from anthology series to drama series, and from idol dramas to feature-length movies. Even now, he still feels like a deserter of the news media system who ended up making movies. However, all his experiences have converged, like hundreds of rivers flowing into the sea, creating an indelible impact on his later creative works. His third directorial work for PTS Life Story, Space Grandma, won Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay at the 44th Golden Bell Awards. His feature film debut, Cha Cha for Twins, was nominated for Best New Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best New Performer, Best Visual Effects, and Best Original Film Song at the 2012 Golden Horse Awards, and won Best Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing at the Taipei Film Awards. Sustained by creativity, he never ceases to absorb external nourishment and reflect on the world around him.

寫作風格多元，也樂於嘗試多種不同的文體與媒介，寫過專欄文章、影評、漫畫腳本、電影劇本與影視劇本。為《星空下的黑潮島嶼》、《那張照片的我們》編劇，著有漫畫《幸福十八折》，Dcard & 新北捷運局合作短篇網路漫畫《百味人生放映所》，也擔任《創造時代》紀錄片腳本。

Versatile in writing styles and enthusiastic about experimenting with various genres and media, the writer has produced op-ed articles, film reviews, comic scripts, and screenplays for both film and television. Notable works include screenwriting for Black Tide Island and The Us in That Photo. Published works include the comic Happiness, Folded in Eighteen, and the short online comic A Hundred Flavors of Life, a collaboration between Dcard and the New Taipei Metro Authority. The writer also contributed as the scriptwriter for the documentary Creating the Era.
